Annual Scholarship

We are very proud to announce the 9th Annual RDG Scholarship in conjunction with our new partner Willis Reinsurance Australia.

The Prize

RDG and Willis Re will sponsor the fees for one lucky delegate to attend the Willis Re Academy in Singapore for one week 29th July 2nd August 2019.

To enter, submit a picture representing “TRUST” along with a 150-word response on the impact to the insurance or reinsurance industry, present or future.

The answer judged to be the best response will win the award.

Points will be awarded for originality, imagination and humour.

Entries close on Friday 31st May, 2019 and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter to allow adequate time for itinerary planning.

Conditions of entry

a) Entrants should ideally have up to 2-5 years’ work experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry.
b) Entries are limited to one per person.
c) The prize is not transferable.
d) The winner must have a current passport, travel insurance and be available to attend the course on the dates disclosed above. You may want to discuss your availability with your employer before submitting an entry.
e) Reasonable expenses only in relation to flights (economy), tuition, accommodation and arranged meals will be provided. The winner is wholly responsible for all other costs.
f) The winner will be chosen by the RDG Committee. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
g) Only current RDG members (either individual or part of a corporate membership) for current financial year are eligible to enter. Members of the RDG Committee and Willis Towers Watson employees are not eligible to enter.
h) Due to the sensitive nature of the presentations given, employees of brokers are not eligible to enter.
i) After attending the course, the winner will be expected to present at an RDG session on their overall experience and the information learnt from the seminar.
